Questions
Does Accord send applications without asking me?
No. Accord prepares each application, then waits. Nothing goes to an employer until you approve it, and you can change or remove anything before then.
Which job sites does it work with?
Accord fills and sends forms on Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby. For Workday, iCIMS, Taleo, Avature, SmartRecruiters and Workable it prepares your résumé, cover letter and answers, and you apply on the employer's site. You can also paste a link to any job, and an optional browser extension adds jobs you find on Indeed.
Will it make things up about me?
Accord writes from your own résumé. If a cover letter mentions a number or a name that isn't in your résumé or the job posting, it's flagged for you to check before you approve.
What about CAPTCHAs?
Accord sends applications for you, so there's nothing to install. If an employer's form asks for a CAPTCHA, Accord stops without sending and tells you, so you can apply on their site with the documents it prepared. It never tries to get around one.
Can I take my data with me, or delete it?
Yes. Settings lets you download everything Accord holds about you, or delete your account and all of it, at any time.
